0-200 km/h in 14.0 secs.

verdict:

the RS doesn´t outperform the GT3 but what else did you expect?
Both come with the same engine, except of the fly wheel, even though Porsche made some efforts to close the gap between a super sports car and a street-legal race car, it takes an experienced driver to discover the slight difference between these two. The driving dynamic of the GT3 RS is unbeatable with 77 pts it scores the hishest points in the sport auto Supertest ever, same as the GT3

Re: Sportauto Supertest: 997 GT3 RS

Well it performed like expected. Slightly better than the GT3. Still the figures are very impressive.

All of the figures are pretty much as I had hoped. Fantastic 18m slalom figure!

Re: Sportauto Supertest: 997 GT3 RS

Kind of disapointing. I expected quite better on the Nurburgring.

On the Hockenheim it did better, proper, but again it only nudged the Z06 by 0.4 sec. despite the Michelin Sport Cups.

Re: Sportauto Supertest: 997 GT3 RS

Just 0,2 s better at the Nurburgring, lol (7.48,1 and 7.48,3 min) That's nothing. But it's still look better than the normal GT3.

Audi4Life will become famous soon enough
Re: Sportauto Supertest: 997 GT3 RS

The Hockenheim time looks good but i think the RS should have gotten about 2 seconds less than the normal GT3.

Re: Sportauto Supertest: 997 GT3 RS

Hmph, still... 7:48 for a 3.6 litre normally aspirated flat-six? The only cars that go faster round the Ring are cars with turbos or double the amount of cylinders (barring it's rather spectacular V10 stablemate of course...)

Quite the package, I'd say...
