Re: F01 BMW 7er - first spy pics but isn't that screen suppose to play dvds and other entertainment stuff as well? tilted towards driver means the passenger wont' see it properly.. i thought they would never do it to a 7series nowadays, but it's a good thing imo..

Re: F01 BMW 7er - first spy pics That screen is primary for the driver for sat nav and driving controls... DVD play is a gimmick on the front screen as you cant use it when the car is in motion (great law that by the way)... That screen is designed for the driver and BMW is returning to the driver orientated cock pit ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: F01 BMW 7er - first spy pics Scott, EnI: will the new 7er feature the strong character line found on the CS concept where it discontinues just before the rear arch and rises a little bit? here is a crappy pic, the area circled in red. ![]()

Re: F01 BMW 7er - first spy pics I'm sure some freaks will use the CS concept for their CGI for some upcoming BMW Motorcycle... ![]() There will be some design elements for sure, but not like in that chop... ![]()

Re: F01 BMW 7er - first spy pics To be honest with you, I do like the commanding presence that it has. If the F01/02 is going to bear some resemblance to this I will be really impressed.

Re: F01 BMW 7er - first spy pics As long BMW designer team sticks to CS design principles,I´m not worried for final result. It´s about time for BMW to make proper E38 succesor, which E65 wasn´t(IMO,offcourse).CS concept showed the new design aspects,I just hope it will find it´s way in production model..I really hope so .

I'm not apprehensive about this design at all. The BMW design team has been on a roll, and each vehicle seems to be getting better and better at striking a blance between forward design and mass appeal. The F01 could be a real screamer - can't wait! | |
