| AMS: The Next BMW 7-Series Scans from this months AMS. Judging from the spy pics, I'd say their CGI image looks pretty dead on. They also said that the next BMW 7-Series might be "more serious" meaning it could loose some of its sporty attributes and focus more on luxury and higher comfort levels to be more competitive in this class. | Re: AMS: The Next BMW 7-Series I say the CG is car from the real deal. There is no way that BMW are going to design such an ugly 7-series again. The body lines are sexy but the head and tail lights are hideous. Don't like the front bumper either. |

| Re: AMS: The Next BMW 7-Series The overall shape of the chop looks hot while some of the details don't. It's worth mentioning that AMS isn't very good at predicting what future car models will look like. Still not too bad all in all. ![]() |

| Re: AMS: The Next BMW 7-Series In the overall balance of the Computer Generated Image . The overall look is correct but there is some over confident areas of certain design details in this generated image. But lets get one thing right. In all the years of the developemnt of the 7er series. Each generation has been the basis for new developments in technology. The F01/F02 is not going to be any different. Just like how the revolution begun with the E65/E66. The cycle of revolution will begin again with the F01/F02. Although do not get excited with the prospect of a return to the E38. Those days are well in truly history and in the past. BMW are currently working on a concept car to preview the next 7er or technological advancement featured in the next 7er for Geneva 2008. Although in the midst of the above "appetite whetting" , The production car will be shot for media purposes prior to an early summer launch.Although an early Christmas present arrives in the first appearence of FEP prototypes. |
