Is there any need for an M7 ???

Hi All ,

With Audi now offering the S8 beside the W12 , do you think guys it is time for BMW to make an M7 ???

do you think BMW can produce a car with an "M personality" with the big 7 body ???

I think so... maybe it won't be called an M7, but maybe a 750is or something of that kind. As of now, BMW is the only one out of the three that doesn't have the sporty version of their big limo. Just like the M5 Touring is created because the competition is there, I think BMW should offer it as well.

No not an M7 it will be too heavy to be an M (Motorsport is not AMG), but i can accept an SI version.

sorry to say it but the 7er is too fat and heavy. It would be enough with a 750i sport.

Re: Is there any need for an M7 ???

Let me put forward my theory on this M7 deal..
Im damn sure that bmw will make a M7 but it will be off the next generation of 7ers..'
Why?? beacuse this one is to fat and ugly for them to make it a M car both performance wise and visually... so they tell us this crap about that they dont need to build it and so on...
Some belive it.. i dont.. cause i know as soon as they get their hands on a little better looking 7er than the one now ..they will make the M7..

Yep, that's true.
Sadly BMW went overbord with the luxury and confort on this car.

Re: Is there any need for an M7 ???

I used to want to see a M7... I used to think they had to do one in order to "be in the game" with Audi and Benz...

But then I unerstood the philosophy of M... and now I don't want to see a M7.

That said, I agree like most of you that an "iS" version would be cool.

M7 or a super sport version of the 7 is a great idea.... dont care about the name, but certainly think they should release a special version.

This is what the luxury segment is about. I dont care about speed and handling in a huge luxury car.
