Diesel 6 series rumors/speculations.

Aparently Autoblog.nl says that BMW will make a 635d.
Also read speculations on forums about a 645d too.

the new 3er coupe has a diesel, so will the larger coupe 6er get.

I'm quite sure we will see the 635d (and hopefully the 645d) with the 6-series facelift!

hmm...that would be interesting because it will take a few years to get to market and by that time the Alliance that BMW, MB and AUDI have formed on bringing Diesels to the US should bear some fruit...So my guess the 6er Diesel might be BMW's first Diesel in the US....any ideas Eni?

Nope.
524 Td, I belive, was the first diesel on USA soil.

No no no....I'm not talking as first diesel in history. I mean their First new Diesel that comes from the Alliance between the 3 german companies.

I doubt it, not in a 6 series. I think I read somewhere that it would start in the SAVs, which makes perfect sense. Then my guess is that it would go to the 3ers before it went upmarket.
