Never fought so hard w/ a design... as much as I have w/ that of the 6er, when the car first came out I was confused by the bootlid and how it came together w/ the rest of the car, i hated it. Then I started liking it the more I saw it. Then I sat in the interior and I hated it. Today I walked out into the garage here at work and someone has a 645Ci cab. dumped on 20+ inch Breyton wheels, now I love it. I've never taken so long to digest a design as I have w/ this one. Hopefully the facelift will meld things together nicely as was done w/ the E65/66 7(I really miss the E38, especially w/ the M sports package.) ![]()

Re: Never fought so hard w/ a design... I can't tell you the number of things that I didn't like much at first but which I have grown to love. It often is the things that make the strongest impression and get the most passionate reaction that you come to like the most. Other things which you find attractive initially can become boring to you over time.

Re: Never fought so hard w/ a design... The car has and will never please my eyes. I have seen the millions of times and I have even seen the M6 several times but the car is still looks like a ugly fish in my eyes. The huge design and the wierd rear makes it look really vulgar.

Re: Never fought so hard w/ a design... I didnt like the sixer either, but now like it more, since my partners car is in front of me everyday, with black 20" Rad. rims with chrome outer lip, all tinted out with SMG. Now i like it, but the M6 is too simple. Needs more too it to attract me. Looks too bland....

Re: Never fought so hard w/ a design... Again, design is purely subjective. I think no matter the rim choice of whats availble, the 6 still has the lines it has, that's the controversey w/ this car. Great looking car none the less, but the Breyon 6 pic I posted is just hideous, the double chin kills it.

Re: Never fought so hard w/ a design... I have never had a problem with the old 6er. THe first time I saw it I thought it was a nice car. The 5 series, I had some quarrels with at first. Later it grew on me and now I like a little more than the 6.
