| What the M5 does to a 16 year old If I remember right he's 16 or at least close to it... You get the point. A member from Qatar on Fast-Autos who've driven some very nice cars thanks to his wealthy family now got to drive an E60 M5. Here's what he said: Quote:

Re: What the M5 does to a 16 year old Nice read. It's nice that he got to drive the car but I'll take what he says with a grain of salt. He just drove the M5 and all of a sudden both the M5 and M6 is better than ALL AMG cars. Right. But it's good to know there are some lucky kids out there with no experience on proper driving dynamics giving reviews on cars...LOL

Re: What the M5 does to a 16 year old Yeah, it was probobly mostly his excitement talking and after all, he hasn't driven all AMG cars. The nicest car he's driven is the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti so he does have something pretty good to compare to. But he's still very young and as said, alot of that post is pure excitement.

Re: What the M5 does to a 16 year old I remember when I was 14 and first floored my dad's 140hp V70 and it pushed me back into the seat and I smiled so much He has 170hp now and I don't get quite that excited anymore.

Re: What the M5 does to a 16 year old Since we're on the subject...I was a passenger in a Saturn once when I was 10 or 11 years old. My cousin stepped on the gas and I was thrown back. Since then my impression of Saturn was "Damn, those cars have lots of power". But when I finally started learning more about cars and actually started driving at 12 I was like..."damn i'm stupid, I thought that car was fast.." LOL But given, the new Saturn Sky roadster (a la Opel) is hot! That kid is purely excited. I don't care what car he has driven, he doesn't yet have experience pushing cars to the max. Just stepping on it or something like that and fiddling with the controls is not a way to say that a certain car is better than something else. But, I'm sure most of you know that already ![]()
