6-speed manual BMW M5 E60 the MDM and DSC will be disengagable

BMW announced today that ALL 6-Speed manual BMW M5 and M6 cars, come September Production, will be able to completely disengage DSC. This is also possible to install retroactively. How will this work? Push the MDM button once and then hold the button down until to see the DSC symbol in your instrument cluster and then it is disengaged.

The solution implemented will still provide for a monitoring of vehicle and drive train conditions and it should be pointed out that under unfavorable traction conditions even a deactivated DSC still can intervene by reducing engine output
