Is that the new BMW Ignis? Or perhaps the BMW Inferno?

Nah, it's a BMW Diablo. I see that you're an Audi fan because you don't know that...

No, both names have already been registered & used by Audi and Lambo.

This is more like BMW HL5 model.

Re: M5 E60 on fire!

sad thing to see. i won't save the pics into my hard drive.

Actually, i didn't get that story. My english is not perfect... So anybody can clear things up?

PS. I have some similar experience, but it was with a Skoda Favourite! We were driving to home after work, a friend was driving, and smoke came out of the hood. 5 minutes later the car was history! Damn electrics...

Unhappy Re: M5 E60 on fire!

Oh God... that is a terrible and scary sight. I hope the owner is OK and no one was hurt.

Poor M5.

I really hope no one was injured
And the owner should have learnt his lesson by now... Should have bought an E63 AMG

Re: M5 E60 on fire!

mercmad: I by no means am a BMW fan but what your saying is just quite opposite from the fact. If you wouldve read the post then it clearly states that he had put it in a puddle 2 weeks earlier. It was most likely the dealerships fault that they did not diagnose and completely solve the issue.

Re: M5 E60 on fire!

What a waste of nice car.

Reminds me of the times W210 E-Classes would stop working after they drove through deep puddles. Water would enter the engine from below and just cause the motor to stop. This was a common a problem on the early W210's. It was fixed with the facelift.
