i've seen both side by side (actually i've already seen tens of W221's in lebanon)
the S seems more imposing, more old school, more coherent, but
the sheer presence of the 7, the exctiment it procures, the passionate design that flows out of it makes it more beautiful
the S is another mercedes, in traffic it doesn't attract as much attention as a 7
