It's something which is mutually expected with Ferrari around the world. Even EVO has had their fair share of troubles trying to get test vehicles from Ferrari. For instance, when EVO conducted their 2006 COTY, the magazine had to rent one (an F430) from a local loaner because Ferrari would not lend out a car.

I have had long since wondered if Ferrari is actually afraid of negative press. They're so strict on not only loaning cars out to magazines, but conducting performance tests, one really does have the wonder what the big deal is.
