It really depends on what type of driver your uncle is, and what does he want in his car. The E63 won't feel as special as a Continental GT, so if he wants a fast comfortable cruiser with unique styling, the GT is the way to go. If he wants a fast comfortable 4 door luxury sedan that can go around corners with a bit of attitude, then the E63 is for him.

For me, I will be extremely tempted to go for the GT, but at the end, I will pick the E63. It is more understated, but it is probably just as good to drive as the GT, even though it lacks the sense of occasion.

If you don't mind spending a bit more money the CLS 63 is definitely worth a look. It has a beautifully designed interior that is almost a match for the Bentley.
