Re: Stupidest vehicle or segment designation contest

All these new acronyms are unnecessary and won't bite. FAS and SAC are pointless since they don't fully describe the shape or intended purpose of the car in question.

In order for us humans to understand the world we live in more easily we classify and categorize. Not only does it make storage of information easier but it also makes it easier to communicate with one another.

SAC won't be used at all since the car weigh over 2 tons, has AWD and is raised with big wheels, which makes it an SUV in the public eye.

PAS is very silly too. The car is just like the R-class larger than a E/5er and has a raised roof. That makes it a van the difference is that the F5 will be slightly smaller than the R-class though and more road focused. Since the word van doesn't suit BMW they sliced a part of the roof off making it less practical and used a fancy acronym to make the car sound more glamorous than it is. But technically it's nothing more than an impractical van. Heck I even classify the CLS as a sedan.
