Alcohol in moderate amounts is healthy. I read somewhere that a bit of alcohol is actually good for your veins and digestion. So after I eat, I usually have a shot glass of Italian lemoncello, at least once or thrice a week.

My father is 66 years old and in perfect health - and he drinks at least 2-3 beers a day. Alcohol ain't so bad, in moderate amounts.

Of course, being a former college student I know what you guys are talking about.
