| Re: Mercedes-Benz UK Offers Special Edtion E-Class To Target Corporate Market Finally something "business like" coming out of MB. They should introduce this idea in all countries and not only the UK. I never understood these guys. Most car makers offer big discounts or additional options in Europe to corporate buyers. MB never followed this policy. When I bought my E90 in Belgium, BMW threw in a hell of a lot of options which made the price drop by almost 25%. At the same time, I was negotiating with MB, they refused to budge. For example, for the price of a "dynamic line" E90 320D with business NAV, park distance control, ligth pack etc, I was getting a 200 CDI W203 without any of those options. Furthermore, for the W203, the Elegance line was already outside my budget.
I think my choice was rather easy - W203 Classic 200 CD without any additional options vs E90 320D with a whole lot of options thrown in and for 3/4th the monthly budget of the MB. |
