The CLS isnt necessarily an ugly car...but the mere idea of it, the concept-its just...well its plain retarded. The idea of a four door coupe gives the term idiotic a bad reputation, to put it bluntly. Lets face it, there is no void between a coupe and sedan. The void is the sedan. Additionally the benefits of having a sloped roof on a four door do not outweigh the harms. I mean the structural rigidity hasnt been improved enough to really effect the handling of the car in a positive way and the sacrifice of head room in the rear voids the point of the rear doors-so basically its a car without a purpose. Mercedes is wrong, there is no segment for a four door coupe....because two doors defines what a coupe is. Additionally, If you have room for four doors and people sitting comfortably in back it means that a sloping roof is two high any way making the point of a sloping roof (to lower the center of gravity) null and void.

The fact that this car is so popular in LA also bothers me. People here are so obsest with image that they would pay 10 grand more for a car with no benefit over the much cheaper and more practical E class. I also saw and sat in this car at LA auto show, and boy, what piece of Sh**! The rubber along the door seal was falling off because of the wierd shape it had to take. The interior wa falling apart as well because of the people sitting in it. And what pisses me off more is that the people driving these things are really obnoxious. IT isnt a real segment and it is from the get go, a stupid ass idea. Porsche, dont make a four door coupe-make a sedan for God's sake!

Any way thats why i dont like it-bar the fact that it looks like a banana.
