I feel the same way as James. I have seen the CL several times with and without AMG package. There is no mystery that it looks killer with AMG kit but even without AMG kit I can with great confidence say that it is one of the top 3 best designed cars the latest 5 years. It is pure perfection. The first time I saw it, it was black with white designo interior and without AMG-kit. What a beautiful sight it was, the huge gigantic side windows let so much light into the cabin.

The C seem to be a very beautiful car but unfortunately I haven't seen it in real life yet. But if you think the CL is plain and boring than it is clear that you don't have an appreciation for understated beauties like the CL and Azure. It seem like you are the odd one out here, you are the first one to question the beauty of the CL.
