There are rumors that at 2am est Nikon will hit the masses with the D3. However, this is not confirmed and may not actually happen. Either way, stay up and see
It seems that Nikon is making a move to capture a mega market away from Canon. Nikon is now offering a 6 megapixel D40 and a 10.1 megapixel D40x. I am not sure if the D40x is suppose to replace the D40, but either way, Nikon has two little cameras in a sector that is not touched by Canon. One can argue that Nikon is going after the 400D. Who knows?
