| Re: Brabus Widestar Based on ML63 AMG @ 2007 Geneva Auto Show I'm getting sick of these High-Performance SUVs.
An SUV is supposed to tackle rough off-road terrain and yet it needs to be dynamically adequate to tackle the on-road terrain.
What's the point of shoehorn a Saturn V Rocket engine under the bonnet of a large and tall car, if this car still will NOT be any sportscar?
I bet that if you put a Porsche Cayenne Turbo S and a lowly Porsche Boxster 2.7 on the same track, the less powerful Boxster still would be faster and more enjoyable than the Cayenne.
Of course, comparing a car to an SUV is pointless. But so is the Cayenne Turbo S.
It's fast and surprisingly it will go off-road quite well, but you will never be able to surprise the smug yuppie in his lowly Boxster 2.7 in a Twisty road. In fact, he will be laughing at you. |
